Hole Covers are user to close the Holes Provided on the Box Type End Carriages or End Trucks for Fastening of Bolts. 100mm / 125 mm or 150 mm Holes are made on the End Carriages where Main Girder of Box Girder is rested on end Carriages, as provision to enter the hand to Fasten the Bolts properly.
Once the Crane is assembled on Crane Running Girder, after Erection, these holes are left OPEN. And these OPEN Holes are gateway for Birds and Squirrels to enter the space. They make Nest in the End Carriages.
Solution : Cover the Hole. But covering the Hole with welding joints is not feasible as Fastened Bolts may need to open in the future. Some space restrictions may not allow bolted cover plates and hence, RUBBER HOLE COVERS are best solutions to prevent these creatures from entering the End Carriage space. These Rubber Hole Covers are made so easy that simply adjust and press fit to fix them on the specific holes. They are available in different dimensions.
